2017 ACP-CAAC EMDT XII Class Opening Ceremony

The EMDT XII opening ceremony was held in the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China (CAMIC) on July 18.   CAMIC Vice President Gao Hongjiang, CAAC Personnel, Science & Technology and Education Department Deputy Director Di Weiguang, and ACP Executive Director Geoffrey Jackson delivered remarks. The Class includes representatives from CAAC, CAAC regional offices, Chinese airlines, and educational institutions.

Several ACP companies will provide leadership and professional development training.  They include: American Airlines, Boeing, Control Risks, Delta Air Lines, GE, Gulfstream, Honeywell, IAAC, ICF, IMSG, Landrum & Brown, Oshkosh, Pratt & Whitney, Ross & Baruzzini, Sabre, United Airlines.  The US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) also are participating.  Four weeks of training will be held in Beijing and an additional six weeks will take place in the United States.

Over 300 students graduated from previous EMDT programs. The EMDT Class Xll graduation ceremony will be on September 22 in Arlington, Virginia.  ACP members are welcomed to join this prestigious group of future Chinese aviation leaders.  With this message, ACP wishes to thank all the participants for making this premier training program possible.
